Regardless of the type or severity of your acne, the Fotona laser acne treatment safely penetrates your skin to target overactive glands – reducing your chances of developing renewed acne inflammation.

Acne is a treatable skin condition that causes whiteheads, blackheads, and inflamed red lesions (papules, pustules, and cysts) to form. These growths are commonly called pimples or “zits.” Acne is most common on the face and shoulders, but can also occur on the trunk, arms, legs and back.

For active acne on your body, Fotona’s laser reduces inflammation by using photoselective absorption and highly-controlled heating effects. Fotona’s high powered laser penetrates your skin to a safe, optimal depth where it thermally destroys the overactive sebaceous glands that cause your acne.

In addition to Fotona’s thermal penetration abilities, the laser accelerates your skin’s natural healing process and stimulates collagen remodeling which is important for your long-term acne treatment.

This treatment is recommended to be part of a series 1-2 times a week for 4 weeks for best results.

FOTONA ROSACEA TREATMENT

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition involving inflammation of the cheeks, nose, chin, forehead, or eyelids. It can appear as redness, prominent spider-like blood vessels, swelling, or skin eruptions similar to acne.

Standard treatments from medication to topical treatments are generally not that helpful in reducing the effects of rosacea. Fotona’s rosacea laser treatment can however make a dramatic difference to people suffering with the condition by treating the different aspects of rosacea and targeting different structures with different pulse modalities.

There is an immediate shrinking of the capillaries which provides an instant cosmetic result. Laser light is readily absorbed by the haemoglobin in red blood cells which breaks them down allowing the collapsing of the superficial capillaries.

The laser then addresses the spots/ bumps/boils and uneven skin associated with rosacea and reduces this followed by treating the background redness and pigmentation, giving outstanding results that last.

The treatment is comfortable and is recommended in a series for best results.

FOTONA VASCULAR TREATMENT

Our Vascular laser treatment can be used in the treatment of vascular damage, rosecea, visible capillaries, redness and papules. Our Fotona laser treatment uses targeted thermal energy to penetrate deep into the skin to reach deep-lying facial veins and aim to repair vascular damage. In comparison to other lasers, which often treat only surface level lesions, Fotona’s laser system can target the underlying vascular feeding system. This is critical to ensure the best results possible.
